A little Stained Series soup

Oh, you guys. Why do I hate updating my blog so much? It's a really pretty blog... and I have only good things to share here. I guess it just seems non-essential.

I'm going to try really hard to update every day, though. At least every other day. See, I'm already slacking. ;)

For a little recap of the last few days, I've been over at The Paranormal Romance Party Facebook page, where they were kind enough to do an Ella James promo all week; they gave away two of my books and posted snippets from all the books, including Chosen.

Just for fun, here's one of them. Pardon the funky formatting.
Julia turned around in her seat, feeling uncharacteristically angry at her friends. “You know, there are other people back here, too. Other people in the same situation you two are. And at least one of them doesn’t know anything about Adam or Thierry or being immobilized.” The word caught in Julia’s throat as she imagined herself spirited back to the compound, never to see the light of day again.
And okay, the compound wasn’t there, and daylight had streamed through the glass pyramid. But that didn’t matter.
Carlin’s round, hazel eyes met hers. “We weren’t meaning to be secretive.”
“I know.” Julia frowned. “But you kinda were. What’s the big deal about Adam anyway? What’s his ability?”
The van got quiet, and Julia’s heart pounded.
“What? Seriously. What?”
“He can immobilize people,” Meredith said.
“Did you and Drew see Theirry, too?” Julia asked.
Drew nodded, tight-lipped.
“And? What’s his power?”
“Ability,” Meredith corrected.
“Thank you, Nathan.”
For the longest second, while Cayne’s concerned gaze pinned her and everyone held their collective breath, nobody would look at her. The Edan did.
“Theirry is good at transportation,” he said. “Kind of like time-travel, but on this time plane. He can take someone and zip across the globe in seconds.”

Chatter filled the car, but Julia’s mind was frozen.
Adam could immobilize you and Thierry could spirit you away.
And she never would be heard from, ever again.
There are a few more on the PRP's Facebook page, so go check it out if you haven't.

Treasured Tales for Young Adults, a great book blog, kindly ran a snippet from Stained for me. I posted the first-ever excerpt from Chosen at the awesome Paranormal Opinion blog The fabulous new Le' BookSquirrel blog ran a Q&A and interviewed Cayne and Julia, and I did another interview and a giveaway at United by Books. The lovely ladies at Tsk Tsk What to Read  ran another Q&A, and gave HERE these two amazing 5-star reviews, which really made my day.

Everyone involved in the blog tour, even those I didn't mention here because I am a loser/slacker, has been totally awesome, and I'm so grateful for bloggers' help getting the word out about my books. We authors should probably pool our money together and compensate them somehow. Of course, then they wouldn't be unbiased now, would they? ;)

And, in case you were wondering, yes - the tour finally has a button! Thanks, hubby! Did I mention my husband is better than any romance novel hero, and TODAY IS OUR ANNIVERSARY.

In other news, if you buy Stained after Wednesday, you will be getting a shiny, new updated version. The content is similar enough to the old version that no one will be out of the loop. The writing is just better, because Stained was written years ago, and my recent edit-over was (well, duh!) recent.

In other, other news, Chosen is finished and is officially on its way to a June release date. :) I really think you guys will like it.

How's that for a long blog post? This girl is going to bed back to work on Stained!

Chosen: Stained Book Three

Julia has been chosen. While at the Compound, she was tapped as The One to win the war against the Nephilim and leashed with a debilitating illness that worsens each day she is away from The Three. Determined not to return to the frightening Chosen leaders and desperate to learn the fate designed for The One, Julia and Co. follow a trail of clues to the Swiss Alps, home of a rogue Chosen clan.

In this snowy haven, all Hell breaks loose.

SOMEONE IS A TRAITOR.

SOMEONE CHANGES SIDES.

SOMEONE IS DRAGGED TO HADES.

A new romance blossoms...

An old romance is damned...

And The Three will stop at nothing to recover
the weapon that will help them regain power.

Announcements, announcements!

Whew! I am so busy it's insane.

The writing of Chosen, book three in the Stained Series, continues to  roll along painlessly. It's longer than both Stained and Stolen and compared to the snarling beast that was Stolen-in-the-works, Chosen is a total sweetie. Oddly, it's a good bit more complicated...but still, much easier. I expect it out sometime in June.

I'm working with Mystic Marketing and Public Relations to make trailers for all my books. :) All I've done so far is pick a theme song for Stolen, but I'm hoping to get more done soon.

In the next week or two, I'm going to put out an official Amazon ebook-style preview of Over The Moon, my adult romantic suspense that follows Logan and Margo from Before You Go. I'll run it free via KDP on Amazon so everyone can get it. I'm not sure yet how many chapters it will be, but probably at least five or six.

Covers are also in the works for Chosen and Over The Moon. I'll post them here as soon as they're finished! :)

And now I'm thinking I'm going to put out the fourth and final Stained book after Chosen, rather than switching to the HERE series. Why not keep going while I'm ahead, ya know? :) The second HERE book will come after Stained #4, and should be out in July or August.

BTW, does everyone remember HERE?
Everyone, meet HERE.
HERE, meet everyone! You guys are going to be great friends.
Seriously...I secretly think this is my best book, with the exception of Over The Moon, but it's flying way under the radar because I'm not doing any PR for it right now. Makes me kinda sad to see it getting so little attention, though. Alas, I'm only one person and can only do a big PR push for one series at a time.

Big PR Push?! Ack, that reminds me: the blog tour! I have a HUGE blog tour starting this Sunday, May 13th. Originally it was just a Stained Series tour for May, but it has gotten way out of hand and expanded into June. Every day I'll post the link(s) to the blogs featuring Stained stuff; swag will  usually be involved, so get ready! I'm so excited and so grateful to all the blogs helping with the tour.

I may really lose my mind and see if I can keep the tour rolling until July. Why, you ask? Because it could be a fun lead up to UtopYA con! And guess what?! I'm gonna be there as a featured author!
http://utopyacon.wordpress.com/
Oh, yeah! I am so excited. It's in Nashville, July 6-8, and you should totally go because it's going to be awesome.

The first blogs on the Stained Series tour are Book Monster Reviews and Literal Addiction Paranormal Bookclub, both kindly featuring a guest post and giveaway on May 13. Come keep me company on Sunday!

What's next?

I'm having one of those awesome days where I have several great ideas competing for space in my head, and every song on the radio seems to apply to at least one of them, and I know I have a long night ahead of me where no matter what I write I'm going to have fun.

Where Stolen has a transitional, wait-and-see sort of vibe, Chosen is shaping up to be really ka-pow!, with lots of revelations and lots of movement. A few characters that weren't completely fleshed out in Stolen (because we just didn't see them much) are really owning it in Chosen. Meredith and a certain someone see each other again and... Edan, who we hardly saw in Stolen, is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters. Someone else thinks so, too... ;) And Julia and Cayne are firmly together - working some things out, but still an item, back to their Stained-era fun. Well...would be fun, if it weren't for...these people trying to Julia-nap Julia, and those people who want to have her killed... And, of course, that certain affliction that will make no sense to you if you haven't finished Stolen.

If things go as planned, this book will be out at the beginning or in the middle of June with (fingers crossed!) none of the madness that accompanied the Stolen release. I should be finished writing it in two, two and a half more weeks... My husband will give it a quick edit, and while he does, I can be first-drafting something else.

HERE book two? The U-PLOT-IT, featuring our girl Alana and Sebastian and Darian, shapeshifting on the Isle of Skye in Scotland? (OMG, that book is going to rock my socks off - there is a good romance there, people. Really good). Or maybe Azalea. Yep, Azalea. Futuristic/Speculative YA romance, probably the most badass item in my paper-and-ink arsenal. Azalea and the Makers of Zen has been plotted since 2006... It's very personal to me (though not at all autobiographical, for reasons which will later be obvious) and I've been putting off writing it because I was (at one time) worried my writing wouldn't be good enough for the rockin' plot. Which, BTW, came to me in a dream. Not even kidding. And also, BTW, by rockin' I mean it features Elvis. As a main character. Kind of. Depending on what you think constitutes a person. :) :) :) Confused yet? MUHAHAHA.

Speaking of the HERE sequel, you guys do remember I wrote a YA sci-fi romance called HERE, right? Where is the love for HERE?! My other books are getting some lovin' and poor HERE is all but forgotten. True I haven't PR'd it in, say, a month or more. True I'm intentionally not mentioning it *much* until the sequel is out... but it's still here, people! It happens to be my favorite of my books, and it's in first person. Classic first person. First person past. So if you hate first person present tense, you don't have to worry! :) (Why is it that people hate first person present? I really like it. Maybe the haters only hate poorly done FPP... Hmm.)

Well, regardless of what comes when, I'm hoping to have Chosen, HERE #2, Azalea & the Makers of Zen, Over the Moon (super-long, adult follow up to Before You Go), and the Skye shapeshifter project out before the end of the summer. If summer ends in late August. Which, as I recall, it doesn't anymore. Kids are going back to school in early August now, aren't they? Gah, I'm so old I don't even know. But I wish I did. Summer break, anyone? Mmm.

Okay, well, that's it for now. I'll keep you posted.

Also, I'm setting up a blog tour, so if you have a blog and would kindly feature a snippet, contest, Q&A, or review of one of my books, please let me know! ella_f_james@ymail.com

Lackluster update

I always have to force myself to post on the ole blog. Not sure why, because I generally have a lot to "say." I think it's because I'm not sure how to categorize my thoughts. I also have a really hard time believing anyone cares what I'm thinking... =/

I started writing what I call the U-PLOT-IT book this weekend. Ya know, the one set on the Isle of Skye, with Alana as our heroine. I can't wait to revisit Skye, which was definitely one of the high points of my honeymoon. Its beauty is unique and totally unforgettable. Like so many places we visited in Ireland and Scotland, the landscape is so captivating it's like a living thing. And yes, I realize vegetation is alive... but I mean, it's like a character in a book. More than just a place. I'm having a lot of fun with the world-building aspect of the book... I think I know now "how" they became shapeshifters. This doesn't mean the plotting is over! I'm just taking a brief hiatus to determine the direction of my next questions. I still want my readers to do most of the plotting...

I was interviewed today by D.M. McDaniel on the Interview with an Indie Author Facebook group. For the sake of bookmarking it, here's the link: http://www.facebook.com/groups/362880930417277/doc/374889482549755/

After I finished the interview, I realized Donna was actually going to share it with other people and kind of freaked out. Lol!

I've also done a radio interview, which I need to dig up an link, along with the above interview, under my "interviews" tab at the top of the page.

I'm elbow-deep in writing Chosen, which is even more exciting than Stolen. I really think people will like it. I've gotten some feedback on Stolen. People seem to really like it, which is always weird on my end. I usually want to say, "Are you sure?" Haha. ;)

Eek! I'm burning a pizza! More later!

FINALLY!

I'm holding my breath for tomorrow... because sometime in the next few hours, the REAL version of Stolen should be appearing for sale at Amazon! Publishing this book has been ridiculously hard for many reasons I would've never anticipated, so I'a littlem nervous something *else* will happen. But I'm really hoping not. If all goes as planned, in the next few hours, Stolen will be available to anyone who wants it.

As for people who already bought it, I'm working with Amazon to get them an updated version, which would automatically go onto their Kindle, but they can get one sooner by e-mailing me at ella_f_james@ymail.com and letting me know what format they'd like to receive it in, and also what date they originally bought it.

Also... Stained is free again tomorrow! If you don't have it, now's your chance.

I'm looking to do some PR for this new Stolen release, so if you want to feature me on your web site or read and review any of my books, let me know.

In the meantime, I'm working on my Shelfari, my Goodreads account, and on Chosen! :)

Emerging from the rabbit hole

Ahhhh. So it's been a REALLY long while since I posted last. A lot has happened. A lot of it good. Hence the ahhhh. :)

My family has finally truly "moved in" to our new home, in our new location: Alabama. No snide questions about whether we wear shoes or have running water here. ;) My husband and I are from the South and love it. Moving was as suck-tastic as moving always is, made at least 20% more suck-tastic by doing it with an 8-month-old. That would be 40% more suck-tastic, 'cept that figure was offset by 20% more overall awesomeness, also due to having an 8-month-old around. My boy is giggly and cute and crawling and trying to walk and generally being a wild man. Which really is awesome. And yes, I guess sometimes I'm going to talk about my kid here. :) Just can't help it.

Not sure how many of you know about my Stolen catastrophe. It wasn't really SUCH a catastrophe, but it makes me feel like bullet point b) under REASONS INDIE AUTHORS AREN'T LEGIT. After some formatting problems which led to me having to get an outside person to format Stolen, I sent that formatting person an OLD draft of Stolen. When they gave it back to me, all pretty and formatted, I published it without giving a close look to the actual content. Ya know, just thinking it had been formatted. Which it had. But it wasn't the correct version. My wonderful readers were surprisingly kind about this - even the ones who'd already finished it. Hearing a few people say they loved the book despite its draft-iness was really great, because it really was a draft. Bottom line: accidentally publishing a draft instead of an actual book is kind of like going to school naked. But I did it, I lived through it, and while I wish I could say I learned something from it, I'm honestly not sure HOW the heck it happened. Although I guess I did learn how kind people can be. I knew this already, of course, but it's always nice to be reminded.

I'm looking back over the new and improved, formatted and correct version of Stolen right now, preparing to press publish again sometime in the next few hours. Baby Boy James is dozing on the floor beside me. I'm drinking coffee, which, because I'm really NOT a coffee drinker, is making me feel electric. Though not necessarily in a bad way.

I've had some personal stuff going on in the last little while, with the moving and a family member having a semi-major surgery. I'm glad to say I think I've reached an ebb with that kind of stuff, and hopefully can focus more on the books.

I'm planning some giveaways and contests for the re-release of Stolen. Most of them will probably take place on my Facebook page. If you are a reviewer who was promised a copy of Stolen for r&r, I have not forgotten you. I hope to send those copies out tomorrow. If you are a reader who bought the original Stolen, I'll be getting you a new copy as soon as I get with Amazon and figure out how. (Don't worry - there IS a "how" - I've just gotta get someone to walk me through it). If you are Jude Henderson, thank you for my new blog! I love it!!!

Re: the new blog - I know there are some dead links. Hoping to get everything perfected in the next week or so. Also... anyone wanna interview me? I need to do some PR! :)

Up next on my to-write list:
Chosen - Stained Book Three (hoping to be finished by the end of May)
Over The Moon - adult romantic suspense, companion to Before You Go (should be out in April or early May)
Unnamed - HERE Book Two (hoping to have it out in June)
Shifter Book (U-PLOT-IT) - (hoping to have it out in July)

I'm hoping to have AWAY, Book Three in the HERE series, out in August, as well as the fourth Stained book. That will end the Stained series and the HERE trilogy, making way for the Shifter series, the Over The Moon series (lots more about that later - you will LOVE IT), and Azalea & The Makers of Zen, my rockin' YA sci-fi romance, which has been in the making since 2006, and has been plotted/semi-written since 2007! :)

Changed release date for Stolen

I've changed the release date for Stolen from March 10 to March 24. I'm sorry to everyone expecting it March 10! I had some family stuff come up that could not be rearranged. Hope you guys love Stolen when you get it the 24th. Between now and then I'll try to post a soundtrack and the cover, as well as a juicy snippet!

In the meantime, have you read HERE or Before You Go? Heck, have you read Stained? Because you can't enjoy Stolen if you haven't read Stained! ;)

HERE! :)

I stayed up late last night (read: all night) tweaking the formatting for Here (which I've decided to write like: HERE to minimize confusion, since "here" is such a common word). It's is coming out Saturday, and I'm soo excited! Both Stained and Before You Go were written a while back, but HERE is something I just did. Stained is my oldest project, and while I'm proud of it, it's not really a good representation of my writing anymore. (Stolen will be!) Before You Go is a modification of a larger story, so it's not a "typical" book from me. But HERE is. It's certainly not perfect, but I think it's good and I'm really looking forward to having it "out there."

I have to send Stolen to my editor by Monday morning...so I'm kind of nervous about that. Since I just officially finished the final formatting touches on HERE last night, that means I don't have as much down time as I'd hoped before I have to throw myself hardcore into Stolen. Tonight I'm planning to read some more of Caged Moon (by Rachel Deagan). I'll probably play with the formatting on HERE a little more, b/c I'm annoyed that Mobipocket Creator is turning all my cool fonts TNR. =/ I guess the logical solution to this would be to learn HTML or use another file converter, but we all know I'm barely managing to use Mobipocket, with its four very easy steps...

Ah, well, Little Man James is awake randomly, probably wanting to eat some more b/c he's going through a HUGE (and grumpy) growth spurt... .so more later. I'm trying to be more active on my blog, which is harder than it probably should be since I'm convinced I am just not that interesting.

You-plot-it update!

So far, the book you guys are plotting is...
-About shapeshifters
-Who are in their 20s
-And who morph into the last animal they encountered

For the week of  Saturday, February 11 through Saturday, February 18, our question is:
-Where do they live?
  • The mystical Black Forest in southwestern Germany http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Forest
  • The beautiful Isle of Skye in northwestern Scotland http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skye
  • The North York Moors in England http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_York_Moors
  • Yellowstone National Park http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellowstone_National_Park
I'm going to put up an actual poll soon, but for now vote in the comment section! :)

Stained is FREE today!

Get it on Amazon or e-mail me if you have Nook!

Tuesday, February 7, 2012

----------------->>>>>

Hi guys! Just wanted to draw your attention to the polls on the right. I'm writing a YA romance, but letting other people plot it via polls, which are new each Saturday. Last week, we decided the book will be about shapeshifters... Now decide if you want teen or 30-something characters, and what their inner animals will be. Thanks for helping me with this! Have fun!

Before You Go

My second YA romance, Before You Go, was free Saturday and Sunday. I was able to list it free through KDP select. In light of the Amazon vs. BN war, I felt a little conflicted about it, especially since so many Nook readers sent e-mails and posted sad faces on my FB page. But as an author working to get established, I HAVE to offer my books free, and right now I think KDP select is the best way to do it. (If you're a Nook reader, shoot me an e-mail and I'll try to hook you up with something). #thingsthatsoundsketchy

Anyway, I'm mostly blogging at this ridiculous hour (when I should be editing Here!) to say how happy I am  about the support people showed for BYG. I really do appreciate everyone who helped me pimp it on their FB page or blog. I'd never had a book listed free, and it was SO much fun watching the "purchase" numbers climb... and climb... and climb. :) At its best point, BYG climbed to #128 on the Kindle Free Books List--just 28 away from the coveted Top 100 Free--and it made it to #2 in children's/YA love & romance, and #12 in children's ebooks. (Probably need to put some kind of PG-13 warning on it...)

In other news, I'm reading through Here for one of the last times, and I LOVE IT. For a while I didn't love it, so it's great to finally be so happy with my final product.

I'm tweeting again, or trying to. Anyone want to follow me? I'm a tech dummy, so it may be funny to watch me fail.

Next poll questions

Decide the characters' age and inner animal!

First poll results: Shapeshifter wins

Shapeshifter narrowly beat changeling!

Super Secret Project Reveal

Hi guys! Some of you have heard about my super secret project via Facebook. Well, this is the big reveal.

I'm going to write a book, but you're going to plot it for me!

This is an idea I had when I first started writing, but back then I didn't feel confident enough in my mad plotting skillz to introduce it. Then I forgot about it for a few years. The other day I remembered it again, and I thought it would be a lot of fun.

Every Saturday I'll post a new poll here on the blog. We're starting with species. You can choose vampires, werewolf, changeling, shapeshifter, or angel. Changelings are faeries. That's the baseline, anyway. If you choose that, we can decide what sort of changelings we're talking about.

Don't forget to tell your friends. The questions are going to get more and more specific, so you'll want them on your side with things get interesting!

Q&A with author K.J. Dahlen

K.J. Dahlen is the author of 14 mystery/thriller novels, including The Prophet.

After a three year search for a serial killer known as the Prophet, FBI agents Michael Roane and Rheta Morgan; both who have personal reasons for wanting to stop the Prophet, finally get a break and the Prophet is within their reach. Confrontation with The Prophet leads them to discover a secret network called “The New Brotherhood.” The more they find out about The New Brotherhood the more determined they are to stop it once and for all. When the Prophet takes Rheta and Michael’s sister hostage the race is on to free the hostages and bring the Prophet and The Brotherhood down.

K.J. Dahlen lives in a small town (population 495) in Wisconsin. From her deck she can see the Mississippi River on one side and the bluffs, where eagles live and nest on the other side. She lives with her husband Dave and dog Sammy. Her two children are grown and two grandchildren and for that fact she feels blessed. She loves to watch people and that has helped her with her writing. She loves to create characters and put them in a troubling situation and just sit back and let them do all the work. They surprise even her at times. They take on a life of their own and the twists and turns become a story. She found she liked mystery/thrillers the best. She likes to keep her readers guessing until the very end of the book.

How did you end up writing fiction? Is it what you planned to do, or did it happen more by accident?
I’ve wanted to be a writer from a very young age. I love reading and I wanted people to read my stories. If I can take my reader on an adventure with my work or even get them to turn the next page then I’ve done my job.

How do you classify your books? Is there something all of them have in common?
The one thing my books have in common is the evil vs the good thing. Evil may exist in the world but the good always wins. My characters may struggle to find the evil and vanquish it but they always find a way to right the wrong.

Your books seem pretty "edgy." Why do you like to write about dangerous situations?
Because at some point the characters take over and I like to see what they are going to do.  I usually write from an outline at least I start out that way but often I veer off at some point. I usually know how I want my book to end but how I get to the end is anybody’s guess.

Who is your favorite of your characters, and why?
I like them all. Each has his/her job and they do it very well. I created them to be their own person, at least in my mind they are real and I try to give them each a little piece of myself or people that I know well.

Is there a certain thing about your books that makes them stand out, something that makes them better than other, similar books?
I try to put some unique twists and turns in all my books that my readers might not be expecting.  My beta readers get mad at me because they can’t put the book down until they are done.

Do you plot your books carefully, or do you wing it? Something in between?
I start out with a detailed outline but usually end up with something entirely different. It goes that way sometimes.

What do you do to get in the mood to write?
I’m lucky enough not to have to work outside my home, my kids are grown up and don’t live with us anymore so I have all day to write. Sometimes getting into a story is no problem and sometimes I avoid writing all together.  A large cup of coffee and a cigarette is usually all I need. But I am trying to quit smoking so coffee will just have to do.

If you had to pick a movie or TV show that's most like your book(s), what would it be?
A show like NCIS. Each of the 30 minute shows are different, yet the good guys always get their man!

What's the best thing someone has ever said about your writing?
When my old boss Lola came into her office and yelled at me because she didn’t get to sleep until 1 am. She’d been reading one of my first books and she couldn’t put it down. Or when my friend Tessi said she stayed up most of the night reading just one more page…

What's your favorite book (of yours) that's out right now?
Bones was my first print book so that holds sentimental value and while I like them all I think I like The Prophet the best. It’s only one third the whole story but I put it in the town I grew up in and the places and people in the story are places and people I grew up with.

What are you working on now?
I’ve outlined so many new books I really have my choice but I think I’ll restart the second book in this series called The Covenant.  It takes up when The Prophet leaves off and takes the story to a whole new level.

Who is your favorite writer?
There are so many I wouldn’t know who to choose. James Patterson, John Grisham, Mary Higgins Clark and so many others. They all have a story to tell and they do it very well. There are a few new writers I like too, Bruce Satre, McKensie S Heart and others. I enjoy any good writer that has a story to tell.
If you couldn't write, is there some other kind of art you would do?
I think I would be lost if I couldn’t write. I could at one point draw but that was before I picked up a pen.

Did you do well in school? Do you think any of your teachers are surprised that you're a writer?
I hated math but loved English but I don’t know if any of my teachers , or class mates even know I write

Go here to check out the rest of K.J.Dahlen's books.

BYG News!

Okay, guys. I give in. I've decided to post a sequel to Before You Go!

Sort of...

This new book is called When You Return, and it's a story (a fairly long one) that's set in an parallel universe where Logan and Margo do NOT get together that summer, and Logan DOES decide to go to space. It has a part I and a part II, and part I is a re-telling of BYG. It's a bleak re-telling, set in a universe where no one leaves the Isle of Isis happy.

There are several other significant-ish differences, and if you've read Before You Go, you should be able to spot them all. Particularly the ones at the end of part I. ;)

Part II is, of course, all new material, set about 10 years in the future, when Logan and Margo meet again in what you might call...emergency circumstances. As you can imagine, they have a lot to say to each other--and not the most...erm...peaceful setting.

That's all I'm saying! Feel free to speculate. If you know anything about Before You Go, you might be able to do your own re-imagining of BYG... if it were 10 years in the future. What roles do you think Margo and Logan will be in? At some point soon, I'll run a contest where readers get to sketch this out and the person who gets "warmest" gets a prize. Probably of the gift card variety. :)

Goodnight!
